transitions
Despite our transition into brighter seasons here in the southern hemisphere, it’s felt naturally more still and introspective. There’s been a call to drop into a deeper listening, which for me has been a welcomed sea change.
A type of divine directive that felt clear the moment it landed to support the energetic shifts moving through the collective in these moments.
Many of you too, will have been feeling a call home to that innerness, despite the momentum of a world speeding up.
We are indeed entering a time of energetic and technological change, that is moving much faster than anticipated.
With that, the body naturally yearns to recalibrate & adapt to the new information streaming in.
The ripples that flow out of this can be felt through the collective on all the multidimensional levels through which we exist.
It is, in essence, a process of allowing more light in. And as more light shines onto the planet through the increase in solar activity as the Sun reaches the peak of the Solar Cycle, comes unearthing the unseen. Much like shining a spotlight in a dim room, illuminates only what has always been there.
This can be felt individually and collectively, mirrored in politics, world affairs, and in our own internal worlds. A process that can feel incredibly uncomfortable, yet serve an essential passage of returning to our wholeness.
A process that naturally calls us forward, to face fear itself and reveal what can no longer travel forward along our journey. Through this lens, the very act of allowing more light in, carves out space for the new.
A natural part of evolution.
For me the slowing down and inward focus has felt essential - like a choice-less choice. A simple yet potent passage.
The call came paired with intuition to fast this time stretching out over fourteen days, allowing deeper being in the body, with the breath, in deep relationship across all layers of the bodies, physical, mental, emotional and soul levels.
A physical and energetic recalibration, and purging of sorts, and opening of inner hearing beyond the noise.
In this way, it was a type of ritual.
That said, food has always felt like a natural source of joy and nourishment, yet equally can be a means for distraction, seeking comfort, and avoidance.
This constant chase for satiating is relatively new to us post the introduction of plentiful abundance and much consumer programing. Yet, our bodies are intelligent design for feasting and fasting is encoded within. And in someways because of this “memory”, we often eat as a survival response even when there is no need.
Some too may position fasting as extreme. Yet, I would offer, while it’s naturally an very individual choice, and not suited to everybody, this certainly does not feel the case.
That said this isn’t a claim that all should fast or even attempt it, it’s simply a useful pondering to ask yourself where is your focus? in the same way as why you might undertake any activity, is it a distraction from what you are really feeling or just a program consumed?
Because beyond the many physical benefits, fasting is really an invitation to feel more deeply. To give the body space to release, rebuild, and regenerate.
To feel what’s there and allow just enough space to process out that energy and to meet self more inwardly.
Post this fast, its felt different, choices have felt clearer, body more attuned, discernment sharpened, authenticity and connection deepened. A call into truth that feels anchoring.
A non negotiable pealing away of anything that cannot come along in the next stage of the journey, with no exceptions.
And so if you have read up to this point, maybe you are wondering why I’m sharing this? I would offer, it’s really a nudge for anyone feeling the pull to shift into the new. To listen and courageously step in. Follow your expansion energy which naturally feels scary yet exhilarating, vs contraction, which feels safe but powerless.
Despite how it feels you will always be supported, even within the uncertainty.
I don’t claim to have the answers, but what I know for sure is, that following the love always delivers. Because there is no greater purpose than returning to your wholeness.
If this resonates, or ignites something within you, be invited to breathe deeply and ever-so naturally into your body. Connect into your heart and that innerness, and courageously reorient your sails for love, in whatever way feels true for you.
With love always,
Jen
