the Libra - Yin & Yang New Moon.

๐“‘๐“ฎ๐“ช๐“พ๐“ฝ๐“ฒ๐“ฏ๐“พ๐“ต ๐“—๐“พ๐“ถ๐“ช๐“ท๐“ผ,

As we enter the beautiful ๐“›๐“ฒ๐“ซ๐“ป๐“ช ๐“๐“ฎ๐”€ ๐“œ๐“ธ๐“ธ๐“ท ๐ŸŒ‘โš–๏ธ and continue along an energetic wave ๐ŸŒŠ over the past weeks, we remain centred quite unmistakably around that of ๐“‘๐“ช๐“ต๐“ช๐“ท๐“ฌ๐“ฎ.

It feels timely to highlight that solar activity remains active despite making its slow exit out of solar maximum towards 2030, which speaks to the Earth changes and our collective consciousness in these moments.

Increased solar activity naturally charges up the ionosphere, making Earthโ€™s atmospheric field not only more conductive but reactive, increasing activity and conditions where more subtle energies, including plasma and other charged particles, interact more easily with us and our planetary environment.

In this way, we are seeing increased seismic activity on the planet, which, through a wider energetic lens, can be viewed as energy discharges and awakening on the planet.

Over the past day an influx of plasma following an Earth-facing coronal mass ejection from the Sun, arrived as a G2 geomagnetic storm on the 9th, a day prior to the New Moon.

It can be helpful to consider some of this โ€œmaterialโ€, namely plasma, as a carrier of potential, a medium through which possibilities move into form.

And although co-creating is something we are always doing, during heightened solar activity we get a unique opportunity to co-create in an accelerated way. Which works in cohesion with a New Moon, being a conception point.

Be reminded, too, that as increased energy moves through the planet, it interacts with water, one of the most responsive and naturally conductive mediums on the planet. One of the ways energetic information is received, recorded and circulated hereโ€ฆ

This lunation draws our focus to the relevance of water, highlighted in part by Sedna, the trans-Neptunian dwarf planet who finds herself in relationship to the New Moon this coming weekend.

Sednaโ€™s myth, linked to the water goddess, brings a focus to the Yin principle, elemental intelligence, transformation and restoration of harmony between humanity and the natural world.

It also highlights how energy beneath our awareness forms part of the unseen currents shaping life, something reflected through the Venus (weaver of the magnetic love-infused realms) in Scorpio (the master of the deep underwater of the unconscious realms), shared prior to this note, coupled with Libraโ€™s call to balance.

In this way, energy is never destroyed, only changed in form. Water reflects this fully.

And in order to shape the world we wish to see, our relationship to what we do with our energy and therefore our lives naturally must evolve and be transformed.

We see the ways water is a fundamental โ€œSourceโ€ molecule. Acting as a thread connecting every living thing back to its origin. It holds the memory of all of time. A bit like a living Akashic record.

It listens and remembers, and it also responds.

As shared in prior notes, do feel into that and its potential and implications, particularly of the body. The heartโ€™s torus field and larynx as we have been working with.

Because despite the sometimes present limitations of the โ€œmindโ€, we are deeply interconnected to our sacred and Source origins. And that very essence exists within us and all of life.

In this way we are living nodes amplifying and reflecting energy on the planet.

And hence our ability to impact our sacred vessels and the greater whole through holding a steady, unwavering love-focused orientation.

Because when we align with love and truth, boundless potential is free to unfold.

So, despite the sometimes dire pictures or predictions โ€œsoldโ€ to the collective, selling us a sense of powerlessness on mass, we are in fact Consciousness rising, and with that, the many are awakening. It can be felt in the air, the Earth and nature itself.

That said, actualising the world we wish to see both individually and collectively speaking doesnโ€™t mean instant integration or enlightenment. It means we are in โ€œcollective processโ€.

Depending on our openness to change, these times will bring mixed reactions.

Moments of expanded awareness, where new worlds can be created far beyond the perceived glass ceilings we allow to govern our experience here.

And moments of contraction, clinging to the familiar even when we have outgrown it or it no longer serves us.

All of which is a dance really, and how we participate in that dance greatly matters. Especially when it gets noisy out there.

Even choosing expansion comes with its own challenges, because apparently, there are no free lunches hereโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s sometimes tricky delineating between what is a helpful type of uncomfortable and an unhelpful kind.

A key distinction I would continue to reiterate here is to follow the ๐“ฎ๐”๐“น๐“ช๐“ท๐“ผ๐“ฒ๐“ธ๐“ท energy.

Expansion often feels exposing and uncomfortable but allows you to open into the unknown and create new worlds. It is, too, natureโ€™s most natural state. As we see through natureโ€™s life cycles, moving through many stages of death and rebirth, life is always evolving and life-sustaining.

Conversely, contraction often looks like attempting to play small, stay safe and work with the familiar even when it no longer serves, including circling over the same loops that keep us locked into lower realities/timelines. Unreflective of life itself and therefore not life-sustaining.

In this way, it can be all too easy to forget Earth is a consciousness development school and become caught up in the stories on the ground, forgetting that restoring balance is less about pointing outward but instead a journey inward.

So allow this note to serve as a reminder of the bigger picture as we step into the theme of balance here.

We are after all practising becoming

Now itโ€™s time to ๐“ฉ๐“ธ๐“ธ๐“ถ inโ€ฆ to the moment we are in within that journey.

Beginning at Equinox, we explored the natural meeting point between light and dark, movement and stillness, that which is emerging and falling away, reflecting the ways Earth itself is in a continual process of recalibration and reorientation.

These themes were brought much closer to home through Venus stationing retrograde in Scorpio alongside the recent T-square, illuminating where our own pendulums may have swung far from centre, particularly in the realms of love, values, relationship, power, truth, and the balance between our Yin and Yang energies.

So as we arrive within the New Moon in Libra, we are invited to take a deeper step into that journey, through the reflection of seeing where imbalance exists, and where we are naturally being invited to choose what to do with it post what has been revealed. And more importantly, what we are now recalibrating ๐“ฝ๐“ธ?

Libra, represented by the scales โš–๏ธ, is ruled by Venus, and Venus in all her magnetism naturally draws our attention towards balance, harmony, love, values and relationship. By relationship here we are not simply referring to our relationships with one another, we are in relationship with all of life. With ourselves, our physical bodies, our environments, our work, our resources, our communities, our beliefs, the Earth beneath our feet and the greater living field of the cosmos which we are a part.

Within all of these relationships then, is a continual energetic exchange taking place, which draws us into a deeper exploration of what balance actually means.

Because balance does not necessarily mean equal, nor does it mean everything remaining perfectly centred, still and unchanged. Nature quite clearly demonstrates otherwise.

The ocean moves between high and low tide, or it would fester and stagnate, the seasons between growth and dissolution, our bodies between activity and rest, waking and sleeping, inhalation and exhalation. Even the Earth itself does not stop moving in order to find equilibrium.

Balance is alive, responsive, relational and continually adjusting according to what is required in order for the greater system to remain coherent. Which means sometimes balance may mean more rest, while at another time movement, greater receptivity or clear directed action.

And so the scales are not so much asking us to make everything equal. They are instead asking us to move into

This takes us beautifully into the ancient Egyptian principle of ๐“œ๐“ชโ€™๐“ช๐“ฝ ๐Ÿชถ, which represented far more than balance alone. Woven through Maโ€™at are the principles of love, truth, harmony, justice, right relationship and fundamentally cosmic order.

This order was not something established once and then permanently held. It required continual participation, a continual restoring and reorienting towards that which sustained harmony and right balance, rather than that which fed disorder, distortion and imbalance.

And there is something exceptionally beautiful in that in relation to everything we have been exploring, because within Maโ€™at, love/truth and balance are not separate principles. To move away from truth is, in itself, to move away from right order.

It asks us to consider balance somewhat differently. Not simply where have my scales tipped too far, but where have I moved out of right relationship with love, truth and what I know at the deepest level, to be true?

This becomes even more potent through one of the most recognised images associated with Maโ€™at, the weighing of the heart. Within the ancient Egyptian tradition, the heart was weighed against the feather of Maโ€™at, bringing the heart, truth and right order to account.

And while we need not attempt to overlay our own understandings upon what the Egyptians themselves meant, the symbolism offers a beautiful mirror here.

Because that which is being weighed within our own metaphorical scales is not whether everything in our lives has become perfectly equal, but whether there is coherence between what we know and what we live. Whether our values are reflected through our choices, words, deeds and actions, and whether they carry the same truth we say we hold within our hearts at the deepest levels.

Far from condemnation lies a question mark, asking simply, what is being asked to be brought back into right relationship, reordered, rebalanced and reoriented to reflect that?

This feels particularly alive through the Aries/Libra axis in these moments. Aries being a representation of the individualised expression of ๐“˜ ๐“๐“œ, and Libra reflecting that of ๐“ฆ๐“” ๐“๐“ก๐“”.

Two aspects that are not in opposition in the sense that one must win and the other lose, but instead reveal another polarity seeking conscious relationship.

Because unity does not require the erasure of individuality, and individuality does not require separation from the whole.

In this way we can remain rooted within ourselves while meeting another fully. We can love deeply without abandoning truth, and give without continually emptying ourselves or attempting to control the centre of somebody else.

And we do want this.

๐“ข๐“ธ ๐”€๐“ฑ๐“ฎ๐“ท ๐”€๐“ฎ ๐”€๐“ฒ๐“ญ๐“ฎ๐“ท ๐“ธ๐“พ๐“ป ๐“ต๐“ฎ๐“ท๐“ผโ€ฆ  into the greater astrological picture surrounding this New Moon, the invitation into balance and right relationship becomes even more pronounced.

Sitting across from the Sun and Moon in Libra, we find a concentration of energy within Aries, bringing another layer into this conversation between ๐“˜ ๐“๐“œ and ๐“ฆ๐“” ๐“๐“ก๐“”, the individual and the whole. Saturnโ€™s presence here, which is connected to the earth planes, asks that we bring what we know into form, so it may be lived and embodied within the physical reality of our lives.

Alongside this we have the asteroids and dwarf planets, Pallas Athena, Vesta and Eris, bringing the energies of sacred feminine wisdom into the conversation.

To be clear, when we speak here of feminine and masculine principles we are not speaking about women and men, but instead the Yin and Yang energies that exist within and move through all of us. Two aspects of the same creative whole, much like the inward and outward breath we have been exploring.

To really capture this in its totality imagine breathing inward without an outward breath or outward without an inward.

Pallas Athena brings a reconnection to our deeper point of knowing, the intelligence that can see and recognise patterns beyond the linear and analytical processes of the mind.

While Vesta draws us towards the sacred fire within, the inner flame that remains when the external noise falls away.

Together with Eris, another aspect is brought forward, asking how the unique expression that belongs within each of us wishes to be brought into the world.

Each of us a unique fractal expression of one living cosmic story, carrying something that only we can bring through in precisely the way we do.

Which feels part of the corrective movement occurring now. A movement out of the illusion of separation and back towards remembering ourselves as participants within an interconnected living cosmos.

This New Moon too forms a sextile with Jupiter (expansion) in Leo (heart), a naturally harmonious aspect expanding the themes alive in these moments, whilst drawing our attention once again towards the heart. And there is something particularly important here around restoring balance after such a profound collective swing into the realms of the mind.

That said, the mind in and of itself is not the enemy, it is an extraordinary instrument, yet when disconnected from the heart and deeper knowing within us, it can analyse life into increasingly smaller pieces until it loses sight of the greater picture.

And all of this is occurring against the greater evolutionary configuration we have been exploring, with Pluto, Neptune and Uranus continuing to hold the underlying framework of the evolutionary Basket.

And with Mars (power and will) too moving into Leo (heart), it enters this larger conversation around how our will, action and expressions are being directed in matters of the heart.

Mars therefore, not only reflects but asks what are we doing with what we now know? Where are our actions still plugged into old patterns of fear or control, and where are we ready to transform them into courage, truth and conscious Will?

And with Pluto, a transformative force, continuing its conversation with Venus, the deeper examination of love, values, power and relationship continues.

That conversation can energetically be felt beneath the surface, revealing where our expressions of love and value remain entangled with older patterns, and where transformation is needed.

This is where the larger cycle through the Yugas becomes particularly relevant. As we move beyond the density of Kali Yuga and into the ascending movement, we are also healing a much older imbalance within the Divine Feminine (Yin) and Masculine (Yang) principles themselves.

A long pendulum swing in which the Yang principle, which represents outer expression, increasingly moved into individualised expression, into the idealisation of the mind, self and therefore power over that which we canโ€™t control, while the Yin, connected to the we, the flows of life and those cycles, became out of balance and increasingly disconnected from its rightful place within the whole.

The correction then is not the yin rising to overpower the yang, nor the yang being diminished so that the yin may return, because that would simply recreate the same cycle. Instead, what we are being invited into is restoration, where both principles return to right relationship with one another.

The Egyptian Eye of Horus comes to heart here. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

The Wedjat Eye symbolises protection, healing, perception and restoration. Horusโ€™s eye (represented as the Yang) was damaged and later restored, becoming a powerful symbol of returning from fragmentation into wholeness and restoring cosmic order.

Here we see the potential for the inward breath and the outward breath, receptivity and expression, inner knowing and outer manifestation working not as competing forces, but instead as complementary forces of the same creative process.

Which brings us back to Maโ€™at, because restoring cosmic order does not mean diminishing polarity. It means restoring right relationship ๐”€๐“ฒ๐“ฝ๐“ฑ๐“ฒ๐“ท it.

So this New Moon then, simply carries something resembling a corrective force, offering another point within the greater cycle through which what has moved out of balance can begin moving back towards coherence.

This is where the New Moon itself adds another beautiful layer to the invitation. Unlike the Full Moon, there is very little external illumination. As shared in a prior note, at the New Moon, the illuminated side of the Moon faces away from Earth, and a new lunar cycle begins.

There is something not only beautiful but telling in this, because so much of what is birthed here begins long before there is any physical evidence of it.

Just as a seed begins its transformation beneath the soil.

In this way, we see that the darkness of this Moon is not about immediately knowing what comes next. Instead, it offers a space in which to feel what is already arising as a consequence of what has recently been revealed.

A place where we better notice what no longer feels coherent, what we can no longer comfortably participate in, where our values have evolved, and where the old ways of relating no longer reflect who we are now.

And that feels to be the invitation of this Libra New Moon, to consciously participate in restoring right relationship wherever we find ourselves out of alignment.

Because what restored balance yesterday may not be what restores balance today, and what restores balance within one part of our lives may look completely different within another.

Hence the invitation to come into ๐“‘๐“ช๐“ต๐“ช๐“ท๐“ฌ๐“ฎ.

To recognise we are participating in a living conversation with life. Where there is a continual returning towards ๐“œ๐“ชโ€™๐“ช๐“ฝ. ๐Ÿชถ

So as we move into this New Moon, be invited to sit with what the recent journey has already shown us.

And ponder ๐Ÿ’ญ

โ˜ฏ๏ธ Where can I identify pendulum swings in my life?

And, what might right balance look like here?

โš–๏ธ What story can I now see that keeps me within that swing, that doesnโ€™t support the new, and instead keeps me plugged into the old?

Am I willing now to take responsibility for that change?

Keeping to heart, this will indeed require work in order to move into recalibration.

Write them down โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ

โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ What values have I previously held that are now ready to be realigned to the truth I now hold?

๐ŸŒŠ Where am I engaged mostly in the outward breath, the Yang principle, over the inward breath, Yin, and vice versa?

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ What do I now see clearly that I can no longer pretend not to know?

๐ŸŒฑ And out of that awareness, what do I commit to reflecting through my words, deeds and actions, going forward?

As always we may find clear answers, or we may connect with subtle feelings. All are welcome.

Simply work with whatโ€™s available to you in these moments.

As always, it remains a journey, lovers.
